This is the mandatory education stage. Complete it through a currently approved provider and obtain the required certification before registering for the provincial exams.
Ontario update
Ontario LLQP exams are administered in person.
FSRA announced that online LLQP exams in Ontario would be discontinued effective July 1, 2026. Its LLQP information states that examinations are administered by Durham College and are available in person, subject to approved accommodations.

2. Ontario licensing exams
Ontario candidates write the required LLQP modules through the provincial examination process administered by Durham College.
3. Optional exam preparation
Supplementary practice can add questions, calculations, client cases, pacing work and review. It does not replace the approved qualifying course.

How should you prepare after the course?
Use the competency structure to diagnose weak areas, then combine targeted questions, calculations, client scenarios and timed module practice. Because the examination is open book, practise locating supplied reference material efficiently without treating it as a substitute for understanding.
LLQPprep's role: LLQPprep is independent supplementary exam preparation. It is not an approved Ontario LLQP qualifying-course provider, FSRA, Durham College, a licensing body or an official exam provider.
